Thank you so much❤️ Aarhus was a place we had no idea existed until we booked the flight but man we are SO happy we made it there. SUCH a cool little city!!!

Thank you for showing people my hometown. Its not always that windy. If you come back you should visit the new habour side called Aarhus Ø. In the summertime there is a lot of activity there and some good streetfood, café´s and restaurants. To bad you dident get to see the infinity brigde. Come back in the summertime. Maybe also take the little ferry to the island of Samsoe from Aarhus. Is so beautiful there. I got some vids from there. Take care

Thank you so much for the kind words Eric!!! We absolutely loved this day of filming. Sometimes our days of filming can feel extremely overwhelming just because we do...a lot...lol. For some reason this video felt so manageable & different. We seriously loved every second of it!!!!

In Denmark/Scandinavia we drink a lot of coffee, so our National COOP is one of the major buyers on the market! So we we get the Good Stuff! And "Den Gamle By" (The old town) is a collection of actual buildings being rebuilt as, mostly original versions, as taken down. One of the last made is "The Coin Makers" house, which was preserved for many years in storage, before being actually rebuilt.

Thank you for letting us know!! We seriously had the best coffee we’ve ever had at La Cabra. So much so that last month when we were in Bangkok, we made the trip to the location there in the city😂 we seriously loved Aarhus. It felt so much different than any other place we visited in Europe and we can’t wait to get back to visit more of Denmark at some point. Thanks so much for watching our video!!!

Great to meet you guys yesterday and sorry for Spurs winning 😂. Thank you so much for the fantastic review of my home town Aarhus, you caught the essence of Danish “hygge” really well. Wish you well on your ongoing journey around the world 😊

Ahhhh Jan!!!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our video!! We seriously loved every second of our time in Aarhus, & as you saw in person, it's impossible for us not to smile whenever we talk about our visit there. We can't wait to get back to Denmark & see more of it. It was so great to meet you, & thanks for being a good sport after smacking Chelsea!🤣

I realy think you should come back to Den Gamle By at Christmas and in a weekend. They brew there own beer like in the old days. So mid-late December before Christmas (24.) and there will be alot of different beers. Theres also real æbleskiver and other old Chrismas things from the old time. I would say you need to use one day there. And then you should visit Moesgaard and maybe Gammel Estrup outside Aarhus

And when you are in The Old Town you have to rememer. You can touch most of it and you should ask the people who work there. Many of them got funny stories. It's an open and living museum. They normaly give a short story but if you stay they will tell you the long story ;-) Most of them knows alot about the area they work.

We’ve talked A LOT about coming back to Aarhus for exactly that reason!! We hate that we missed visiting for Christmas last time so we feel as though we still have more to experience there. It’s really a great city & one that we plan to come back and experience at Christmas one day. Thank you so much for leaving a comment and for taking the time to watch our video. It seriously means the world to us!!❤️

Great video. Yes you butchered the Danish pronunciation, but everyone does at first. If you are not into art and on a budget, I recommend Salling Rooftop. It’s free and you get an even better view of the city.
@ProbablyLost2 жыл бұрын
We thought so...🙈 at least we gave it a try lol! We were going to try and go, but with the weather acting up we decided to go with the indoor option. The Salling Rooftop will be on our list when we come back in the summer. 😉 Thanks for watching!

You know that the old town is mainly Inside the buildings, right? And you have free entrance there after the houses closes at 5pm ...

We didn't know that!!! We'll definitely keep that in mind for our next visit there. Thanks so much for watching our video Roberto!!

Thanks for putting the temperature in celsius on the screen for the non-USA world. 👏 So many Americans don't bother. By the way, it's pronounced more like Or-hus. In Danish (and Norwegian and Swedish) the letter å is pronounced similar to the vowel in 'or'. In old Danish this was often written aa and this old spelling is kept in some names. Great video!!
@ProbablyLost Жыл бұрын
Hi!! We try our best to always include that, not only for our viewers but also so that we can one day try & figure out the conversion for ourselves🤣 I appreciate you letting us know how to properly pronounce it!! It's seriously such a cool city & while we really didn't know much about it at all prior to arriving, we had the BEST time exploring it. Thank you so much for your kind words & for taking the time to watch our video. It seriously means the world to us!!!!

Nice city but not this time of the year! Too cold for a beer (Tuborg?) but maybe with a side shot of Akvavit (antifreeze 😁 ), a special liquor in Denmark. Can hardly wait for your Christmas special, looking forward to it!

Oh it was DEFINITELY cold LOL. The wind was whipping non-stop but we just kept jumping behind buildings to avoid it🤣 I definitely recommend visiting, but maybe more in the summer LOL!! Thank you so much for the kind words & being so supportive of us Eddy!!!

Friendly Aarhus. No crime, no drugs, no violence. Thats WestDenmark. The 1000 year old viking capital is really worth a visit. Summer is fabulous gentle with around 20-25˚ and the water on the beach is 18-20˚. Of cause bathing naked is allowed.

You slaughtered that word ''Bispetorvet'' but it's okay, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay! I always find it very wholesome to hear what others have to say about their trip to Denmark even though it isnt for everyone :D btw I always thought it was very weird as a dane, that people actually love the place in Aros with the different tinted windows, cuz u know... it's just tinted glass but wtf do I know And that sign with the deers says ''We advise you not to feed the animal from (insert dates)'' and the top sign says stuff about the animals might act aggressively, dont turn your back on them and keep a watch on your children basically

Agree with most of your points. I was transferred to the US back in 2002, but visit DK 4-5 times a year to see my kids. I would like to add some things which I find “unreal”. 1. The obscene amount of tax one must pay, and no, the healthcare system has declined over the years and is NOT the best in the world. 2. The “Jantelov” is still very much alive and I just hate people who are envious of other individuals who made an extra effort to be a bit better off. Just on of some results of left wing teaching over generations in schools. 3. People who never had a real job are actually elected into government, go figure. 4. The way the elderly are treated are in some cases a disgrace. The politicians prefer virtue signaling by spending huge sums on “refugees” rather than on the people who worked hard all their life to build society. Still I will of course be visiting to see my kids 😄
