Don’t think I have ever seen a baby Orangutan with that much hair at such an early age. She has a smart mom though keeping her and baby out of the rain. Baby looks bored so she just chews on the corner of the blanket. So entertaining to watch them play and swing on the ropes and just have a good time out of life.

I wonder if when the baby goes off on it's own it does it really slowly..like one day its close all day then it goes a little longer and further away..I j6st wonder how they eventually seperate.. and will the mom just not nate while she has a little one? How does that all work

It's a real shame that the loud woman addressing her audience with her formidable knowledge, is so invasive it's very difficult to enjoy observing these beauties. I wonder how the orangutans cope with people like her and the general noise of human voices which they don't have in their natural environment and they can't escape from in the zoo. It stresses me having to listen to them, what I want to hear are the sounds that the animals make, their voices.

Interesting that our relatives also hate to get wet. Wonder if they learned it as well from someone else or if its genetics. Im 100% sure that mom knows that she is doing time locked up in the zoo/prison. It is a bit sad.

I'm pretty sure living in a zoo is heaven to these guys.. they dont have to worry about food or being killed by people or big cats.. they get free medical care and all that..I bet they love it..why wouldn't they?? In the wild all they do is work all day just to eat and stay safe

Animal in the zoo is like celebrity on the TV, they sure never worry about living, medical, food etc. But they don't have any freedom, everyday they live for the show with so many eyes watching them. Orang utan in the wild is just like us an ordinary people who need work hard to make a living, and paying bill for hospital by our own, but we can freely eat at MacDonald anytime without worrying for paparazzi etc. Life is choice, but it is better to live in the wild, because freedom is priceless. #IMO **Sorry for my bad English.

I think they are better off in the zoo rather than in the palm oil plantation or coal mines which used to be their homes, they would be hunted down and shot by the poachers there. They are endangered species.
