No snow here in the heartland, but it's cold! We had a little bit of freezing rain yesterday, but it wasn't even enough to get the roads slick. Either way, I agree, a trip to Hawaii sounds great right now.

When I was a child in the 1990s I lived under the approach path for runway 8L, and I enjoyed watching the planes land overhead. It’s what got me started in aviation

Great video, we are on Kaua’i at the moment and had a similar flight into LIH (although United Airlines B752). Where did this flight originate? It seemed to approach from the north west, although that may not mean much as it may have been vectored around for a bit. Keep up the awesome work!!

Excellent video. The ocean colors were amazing and the water near the shore was so clear and calm. Just curious, how time do you spend post production editing per video? Your camera work is impressive. You don’t see any edits. That takes skill, focus, and discipline to take smooth video like that. Great job!

Thanks my friend. To be honest, I spend very little time editing videos. A lot less now than I did years ago when I started this channel haha. I've gotten pretty good at only filming what I need to film, not making mistakes, and that saves a lot of time when editing.

I hear that my friend. And these flights are so short they crews find it hard to to fit them in, but they're required to. So, they end up being run through as your landing.

@sla31 maybe the crews are required to play those ads, the passengers are not required to hear them , and the prices are high enough for most of them , not to be terrorized by ads without any warning. The crews can play ads onm onboard tv , but that is another story . A TV remote has a mute button , passenger ears have none and without a warning they are not just able to close their ear with 2 fingers. If i ever would be a passenger on such a flight and nobody informed me before , my next way after the landing would be the way to a lawyer to INFORM me about possible existing rights againts the airline . In a country, where extremely dumb people can get millions of dollars because nobody informed them that fresh COOKED coffee can be VERY HOT, and where the same kind of people get the same amount because nobody informed them that it is a VERY BAD idea , to leave the driver seat of their camper alone while driving , to cook coffee in the back of their camper , there surely is a law , that makes it possible to get money the same way for forced ads on a flight . Did anybody inform you in a safe way with possible decline about ads over the captains speakers before you first hear an ad like that ? 🙂
