Another great memory. My first time in Osaka was arriving in Umeda Station via Shinkansen. We then took the Hankyu line to Ikeda station where my in-laws live. My wife and I also spent a couple of nights in the Hankyu International Hotel, a truly first class hotel. It seems like yesterday when I see this

The Tokyo press does not report on the beautiful parts of Osaka. Thank you for uploading a beautiful and advanced video of Osaka! Osaka had a capital in an era older than Kyoto and was a central city in ancient times. There are many beautiful parks and bridges, and you can take a walk along Midosuji from Namba to Hommachi, Yodoyabashi, and Umeda to enjoy the lively city with historic stone buildings.

I have a question regarding the pronunciation of Osaka. I heard you said Ozaka. In France we say the same. Recently I was a video from a Japanese teaching the Japanese language, and he said it's not za is sa like sss.
@VSV_Japan4 жыл бұрын
Sorry I didn't mean to pronounce like "Ozaka". But actually my pronunciation of "Osaka" in this video is NOT the correct pronunciation... I kind of realized that but it's a little difficult to pronounce Japanese words correctly in English sentences. It may sound silly but for me, if I pronounce them correctly, it affects the pronunciation of the following English words so I pronounced it like the way English speaking people pronounce "Osaka". That way, Japanese words can blend in with English sentences and it makes it easier to say the whole sentences in English. I guess it's not just me because I've heard many Japanese people pronounce Japanese words in an English way when they speak English. But it's really weird isn't it? I think it happens because English has a rhythm and adding Japanese words in it breaks the rhythm and that makes it hard to pronounce Japanese words correctly in English sentences. But I try to pronounce as correctly as possible starting from the today's video! 😄 (I haven't recorded yet. Even though it's today already! 😄)

I’m uploading in a few days but there’s a town in Osaka called “Namba” and it’s often referred to as “Minami” or south as opposed to Kita for Osaka/Umeda.
@JayCee20204 жыл бұрын
I live in Osaka. If someone lives in Osaka, they will say either kita (north) or minami (South) because there are two downtowns where locals love to hang out at. Kita is for umeda while minami is for Namba. Kita is usually local Japanese only while Minami has (or should I say, had) more tourists.
I was there for 2days and don't remember hardly anything.bus station,hotel, business. REPEAT..... once again I'm impressed by the infrastructure.11:15 coming out of an impressive building to a view like that 💥💖. I don't think Japanese know how lucky they are to live in a great Nation like Japan. but Hey.. Japan takes care of it.💖🇯🇵🌺👍
