Besten Dank, Dietmar.Diese Grün tut wirklich gut und entspannt. Die Glühwürmchen waren einen Welt für sich und hatte gerade das Lichtmonster einer sony alpha s Mark 4 zur Hand. Hello dear Shiso. Thank you for a terrific film. Very nicely made, terrific shots and very calming overall. A good contrast to the City short films from Valencia. My favorite shots are the very first shot (obviously) where you just caught the sun beams in the lense - delightful, but also the shot at 2:18 was very appealing to me, as you can feel the warmth of the sun in this shot. (slightly low contrast because of the lighting, something I really like, it adds an organic feeling to hi-res footage.) On a sidenote, I personally felt the firefly sequence in the last quarter was a bit too long. (it's one of these cases, where I can easily imagine how exciting it was to watch in person, so I can understand your motives for including it, as it was an important part of your experience being there.) Lastly, your composition was masterful, perfectly matched with this fairytale-like scenery. Superb, and slightly different in style compared to your usual works. Thank you Thomas! yes this time it's something different. The peace and quiet of this garden was really very pleasant. I also really like these lighting situations in the evening. Backlight always has something special about it, including the colors. I'm glad you liked 2.18... its one of my fvorite too! It is of course a challenge for the camera to film in dark or even completely dark conditions. This time I had a Sony Alpha S Mark 4. The light sensitivity here is almost unmatched. As you have seen, I also had fun with the meditative fireflies, which are also very popular in Japan. As you rightly noted, it's actually too long for a film, but I still wanted to show as much of the mystical moments out of the thirty-plus minutes of material. But yes, if I hadn't done it myself I would find it way too much and so it's actually just for me... 🤣. I hope you can forgive me for this ego trip. I'll improve again in the upcoming films😎. But first I have to find Thenem again and ways to implement them. By the way: when can I enjoy your next work? I'm really excited to see what you'll show us! Have a good new week and all the best! Haha... it's all good, I could easily imagine your reasons for the extensive firefly display. (and it's important to also include your own valued memories - I do the same - it'll be great fun to go back and watch in a few years from now) Yes, the shot at 2:18 was brilliant my friend. Thank you for your patience. In the last few days I had a feeling that something unusual was happening to you. I'm sorry to hear that you were sick. I hope you've gotten through everything well now. Now is the time again here in Switzerland for all sorts of flu and colds. Unfortunately, this cannot always be avoided. I just hope that the madness and hysteria of the past two years with covid doesn't start again... we'll see.
