You are right. This is a famous walking trail as well. Part of the E4 trail, this section crosses the Peloponnese.

This is a stunning walk. Recommend walking from Zahlorou to Diakopto as it's downhill. It's approximately 12km. Start early and take your time, also check the train schedules to have an idea when the train will be passing by.
