I am confused... how could anyone give a thumbs down for this video? I think it is great that this driver wants to share what his trips look like and at least he will turn on his lights in the tunnels when there have been other videos I have watched and they would go through a tunnel without any lights. Thank you Dulevoz for sharing I am a fan of your videos and keep up the great work!

I saw this video just now. And when you came to Ruma, i saw my dad as a train dispatcher wearing a red hat. I showed him and he cannot believe that. Great video keep it up :D

When this video was shot, Belgrade had two main stations. This one, the old "Main" was already then under partial decommission, that is most trains departed from the new "Central station" south of the "Main" station. Less than 30 years ago this section had a big national and international rail traffic. Only between 16 and 24 o'clock 19 night trains left Beograd in the north direction. From 1987/88 "Vozni red" they were: Skopje - Split Beograd - Frankfurt Beograd - Split Beograd - Warszawa Beograd - Split Athenes - Dortmund Beograd - Pula Beograd - Zadar/Sibenik Istanbul - Munchen Athenes - Venezia Beograd - Wien Beograd - Split Beograd - Rijeka Beograd - Moskva Beograd - Koper Beograd - Kardeljevo Beograd - Ljubljana Beograd - Zagreb Beograd - Sarajevo Some trains ran not the whole year. Other trains in the rest of the day went to Paris, Zurich, Berlin, Munchen....

I think these trains are still oldies , not so moderns and station too , looks like USSR time , however , as a great railways fan , I really appreciated. Images excellent (top) , Good job . I would like to see these places on Summer , must be fabulous ! Thanks .

24:21 can you give some background info on this unfinished structure? I've seen this on another video, it looks like an abandoned road viaduct or something like that.

If you look at it in Google Maps, it appears to be in preparation for an extension of the highway A1 that would come from the south and go right, over this bridge, towards Belgrade in a more direct fashion than is the case currently.

​@@P1nkR If you look through the images on Google Earth (starting from around 2014) you'll see that part of this looks like it was supposed to be a link to Batajnica, that whole elaborate, odd, unfinished snail junction is the beginning of that. If you have any source links I'd love to have a look because to me it looks like an abandoned spur. Pretty interesting approach to planning they have over there!

Odlicno! Imas li kakvih informacija u vezi prelaza na 27:35 da li se radi sta na buducem uredjenju(mozda i izmestanju) ili je ta prica prestala biti aktuelna? Neki mnogo manje frekventniji prelazi su bolje uredjeniji od ovoga koji je dosta puta u toku dana zatvoren pa se guzva nekad stvara i do samog centra Batajnice.

Ta priča je prestala da bude aktuelna. Nema uređenja, a problemi zbog postojanja tog prelaza u nivou su vezani i za železnički i za drumski saobraćaj. Česti su kvarovi uređaja putnog prelaza, što uzrokuje obostrane zastoje.

@@dulevoz i @Батајница Поздрав. Морам и ја да допуним и делимично исправим Дулетов одговор: наиме,на том прелазу у Батајници нису толико чести кварови! Много чешће има хулигана,који ноћу долазе и НАМЕРНО ломе рампе и бацају их,некад и преко шина. На Јутјубу постоје снимци тога,на основу којих износим ове тврдње! Следеће не смем да тврдим: будући да је изграђена брза пруга за Нови Сад,а пролази овуда,могуће је да ту у Батајници више није прелаз у нивоу,него је денивелисано надвожњаком или подвожњаком. За обојицу поздрав из Новог Сада!

Here if someone is walking on the rail line, it's called in to dispatch who notifies the police and puts out a slow speed order. If you are caught walking on or along the rails, you get a hefty fine.

I think that the plan is to transfer all the rail trafic from the actual "main station" to the "Beograd Centar" new station that is still under construction. This is why they will not invest money to improve the infractructures to the current station. But according to the photos on the web, the new station is not as beautiful as the old one. Maybe Dulevoz or people from the Serbia can explain what to expect in the future.

Uradjen je gradjevinski deo remonta pruge i to je uredu. Ostalo nije zavrseno, kao ni na drugim mestima u Srbiji gde je radjen remont pruga. Na ovoj pruzi posle remonta nisu zavrseni signalno - sigurnosni uredjaji, nisu ugradjene pruzne balize pored signala i onda ne moze da se vozi preko 100km/h.

I thought it would be the blowers, yes, just also thought that the driver's cab would be quieter. A shame that a straight, flat, electrified railway has such slow speeds, but it does look like they're working on improvements.

In Serbia, here and there are repairs of railways, but general repairs are very bad, they are never completed completely and the speeds are constantly decreasing.

JZ 461's only go up to 120, they're the same as CFR Class 40's, except these were built for export, the 40's were built for domestic use on the Romanian Railways.

Hvala Žarko! Da, u početku prilikom prvih nekoliko kočenja korišćena je el. kočnica. Kasnije, posle Pazove nastavili smo sa 5 motora tako da više nismo koristili el. kočnicu :)

Fantastican video i informacije, kao i obicno : ) da li je istina sto sam cuo da se izmedju Sremske Mitrovice i Sida vozi 30km/h po jednom kolosjeku? Mozda bi bilo dobro da promet tece nepravilnim kolosjekom tud ako nema previse vlakova.... Pozdrav :)

Hvala :-) Nazalost, istina je. Vidi se to i na kraju snimka, od Sremske Mitrovice do Sida je sve 30km/h. Do skoro je i na mestu novog, remontovanog koloseka od Golubinaca do Rume bilo 30km/h i 50km/h godinama unazad.

El trazado de la línea es muy bueno, sólo hay que renovar traviesas, carriles y soldarlos y el tren puede alcanzar los 180 kmh sin problema.

Problems such as excessive current and voltage to the traction motors. Old and unmaintained motors, so protective relays break the current circuit by switching off the main locomotive switcher...

I've got to wonder about why landlords living along the line appear to cut trees in such a systematic manner. There are plains with one beyond the visible horizon and yet once in a while the viewer gets reminded that trees do grown out there indeed, just not if human activity conflicts, and i find it must be conflicting heavily for some reason. That is so puzzling it kept distracting me for the most part, but i sure enjoy the dulevoz posting anyway. Count 1 more love point.

Planirana je izgradnja jos dva koloseka izmedju postojeca dva. Tu je i stajaliste Vojka i to je razlog toliko razmaknutih koloseka.
