What an awesome and beautiful video! Definitely one of the best on the internet of this track section in Switzerland. Brings up a lot of great memories! In 2001 I went from Tirano to St Moritz, and then from St Moritz to Zermatt by Glacier Express, also on this track section. In 2019 I was there by car and drove from St Morit to Tirano and back, and from St Moritz via Chur back to the north. Awesome to see the road sections where I drove from the train. Some parts are better from the train, other are better from the car. Either way, I love it so much!

Clearly I was born in the wrong country, even though my Grandfather was born in Geneva, sadly it dosen't give me the right to apply for Swiss citizenship. . I've travelled on a few Swiss train services - mostly within the Bernese Oberland, even at the age of 11, I was struck with how clean Switzerland is compared to my own garbage dump of a country. But it has to be said, Switzerland puts just about every other country on the world map to shame. . Stunning rail journey, thank you so much for the upload, so appreciated by those of us unwillingly 'exiled from Europe' by our own selfish fellow citizens.

Yes the comparison of any Swiss train operator (always superb) and "Northern 'Fail" here in Post Brexit UK is a real object lesson in how not to run a public transport system, (overcrowded late or cancelled or not enough staff to run the published service or NUR or ASLEF are on strike)

The scenery of the Albula Railway in summer was also wonderful. I am grateful that I was able to enjoy the scenery with 1080P playback on a large PC monitor. Thank you! What I was interested in about this video. My PC speaker system is a wideband system for music playback. The ground noise was played loudly from the subwoofer speaker. The glass window is fluttering ,,,. It was the first sound I heard in lorirocks777's many video. It's a pity that the audio low cut filter wasn't working on the camera for this video shoot.

A rail like this in the Central Highlands of Sri Lanka will be beautiful. The Broad Guage one they have already is beautiful. But there are a couple routes that a Narrow Gauge can be established on that will amplify the experience.

They seem to have missed an opportunity with these spiral tunnels, there's no illumination at all, when surely they could make a feature of them by lighting them and emphasizing the fact that you're going through something a bit different from your normal regular tunnel?

I warmly welcome. Almost two hours of a wonderful journey through the most beautiful mountains in the world and with such a cultural heritage in the form of a narrow-gauge railway. I am so impressed as never before. These views of the mountains, these small towns passed by on the way are quite emotional even for those who only watch online. You provide good emotions with your relationships. It just so happens that in Switzerland I have one friend, a Pole, who sometimes sends me nice exhibits for my hobby, a hobby outside of railways. In a word, Switzerland is fun and I regret not getting there on my bike so far. My time is not running out yet ... In the new, coming 2021, I wish you all the best and a hobby rich in rail travel. Let your Vlog be visited by millions of viewers. You have satisfaction with it. Best regards from Gdynia at the Polish seaside. Slawek. P.S. Please tell me why is there a third rail on some sections of the railway line? Thank you.
@TrenoRegionaleVeloce3 жыл бұрын
4:05 This track is not a third rail, and the track gauge is brighter for SBB Freight coaches, I think they’re never used maybe. Also the third rail is not at this country to be seen, because third rail is at UK.

5:40 - Oops! I assumed the outer-left rail to be standard-gauge. Now I see the outer rail is in fact Broad-Gauge(Weitspur) and the inner rail is for Standard Gauge. The switch-track at this point has clarified the situation. Around Melbourne(Victoria, Australia), there are quite a few of these dual-gauge tracks in various locations.

@@lorirocks777 Okay, so at 1:45:24 what gauge have we been riding on? Because I thought we were on Standard Gauge. The switch point at 5:40 came off the common rail(on right) and the inner rail(of the two on the left).
