4K City Walks: Edinburgh Dean Village Grass Market Royal Mile - Virtual Walk Walking Treadmill Video is a long walk covering a lot of ground. We take you from Dean Village, through George Street with its shops etc, over to the Scot Monument, down through Princess Street Park and past Ross Fountain, around the base of Edinburgh Castle and up through the Grass Market area, Grey friars kirk and the statue of Greyfriars bobby, past the National Museum of Scotland, and finally ending up on the High Street/Royal Mile. Wheeew. That was a long one. You have great weather for this walk and you see a LOT of the city. That's why I saved this one for last in our Edinburgh series. Thanks for posting ALL your city walks, my treadmill had been gathering bit of dust but now back in use. Feels like I am just strolling round interesting off beat routes with one of my walking buddies. So different from normal well planned dedicated city tours that follow exact tourist routes. The fact there is a bit of guessing which way to go at junctions on some of your walks just adds to the fun.

Glad you liked it. I'm hot and cold on Instagram. It's actually a fair amount of work to post nice photos there and do all the hashtagging.Yes, in Switzerland. Hoping to start walking here tomorrow (filming it). So beautiful. I think I started out to make these videos very simple and to the point. My understanding is many people use these on treadmills and I don't want to make it about me as much as the location. However, I'm always open to evolving to best suit viewers.
