My Cockitiel is 17 years old. January 2024 she will be 18. I had a dove who lived 18 years.. I have had my bird from a baby. My sister bought her as a gift from Bird of Paradise. She is the best gift my Sister ever gave me.❤

They need fresh greens too. Seed is just simply not good for them but many ppl don't know this 😒 glad I know better. I also know that the things that grow in rainforests are much different than what they get in their diets away from that. I feel sad for birds who just live in cages like some home decoration it is prison for them! they need to be free with others of their kind! I wish more ppl would treat these creatures better! Thank you for sharing your beautiful aviary! It's great to see them in a more sensible habitat!

Your videos are great! I cam across them on youtube for my 3 cockatiels for sound! Wow awesome I live in FLorida, usa and what kind of grass can I use. I know I have a lot of weeds growing in my grass. I don't have St augistine grass it is the cheaper one. I was here already when I bought the house. I would love to introduce them. Also My tiels I give them very little seed, they eat millet and Zupreeme pellets, they get noodles at dinner time love them they do and eggs scrambled about 3 times a week in the am and they love their honey stick!! Love your videos you are such a caring person and mine are never left in a cage all are out on there setup I have looking outside and they sleep in another bird room I have.....

I just wanted to let you know, I love your videos, and play them for my cockatiels whenever I'm out of the room for long periods. I currently have two, but am about to get a third, and I love their little personalities. I try and let them roam free around the house as often as I can (without losing my sanity), but I would absolutely love to one day build an aviary like yours. The only downside is I live in the northern US, so it gets fairly cold in the winter, so they wouldn't be able to stay out there year round. I wouldn't be able to own as many birds as you do since I'd have to bring them inside, but even if my 3 littles ones that much space to fly around in outside, I would be pretty happy. Keep up the videos!

I’ve subscribed to your channel because your videos have been great for my 15 year old Chipper(cockatiel). Because I had to return to work, I purchased a tablet and leave it on to play one of your videos for him. I’ve returned home to see Chipper watching intently and sometimes using his vocal repertoire, the latter of which is a sign that he’s living up to his name. Thanks very much for what you do!

12m2 is a large aviary. You should be able to have a few different species. I have quail, pheasants, doves, java finches, turquoisines, red rumps and cockatiels all in together with no problems. As long as they all have space to get away from each other if they want too, you should be fine. Just don't put any larger parrots in there.

Hello! I just recently found your channel and I have a female cockatiel that is cage agressive. I have had her and been working with her for 2 weeks. She has come around some, any advice for this would be great! I put this channel on and she talks back to the birds, it is so encouraging to see! I do have a couple questions though, what type of grass and foliage are you putting on that platform feeder? And just for my curiosity, what type of birds are those blue-headed ones? They are just beautiful! All the birds are beautiful, but those are some of the prettiest I have seen!
