The newly constructed double-decker flyover in Bengaluru is a significant infrastructure project aimed at easing traffic congestion. Here are some key details:
**Location and Length**: The flyover stretches 5.12 km from Ragigudda to the Central Silk Board junction⁴.
**Cost**: It was built at a cost of ₹449 crore⁴.
**Structure**: The flyover features two separate carriageways, each with two lanes. The lower deck is for vehicular traffic, while the upper deck will accommodate a metro line⁵.
**Traffic Relief**: It aims to provide a signal-free corridor from Ragigudda to HSR Layout and Hosur Road, potentially reducing travel time by over 30%⁴.
