Costa Mesa is a city in Orange County, California. Since its incorporation in 1953, the city has grown from a semi-rural farming community of 16,840 to a suburban area including part of the South Coast Plaza-John Wayne Airport edge city, one of the region's largest commercial clusters, with an economy based on retail, commerce, and light manufacturing. The population was 109,960 at the 2010 United States Census.

Thanks for sharing this video. I was born and raised in Costa Mesa and lived all of my 18 years there. I recently just moved to Florida half a year ago and miss it sometimes. So many great memories. Thanks again for sharing.

I loved this video. I used to live in Costa Mesa from 2000 to 2002. I met my wife there. I worked at Domenico's Italian Restaurant on E 19th. We used to go out a lot to Goat Hill Tavern, Yardhouse etc. Favourite eating places were In 'n Out, Taco Mesa, Cheesecake Factory, etc. So many great memories, thanks for this video.

I have lived in Costa Mesa for 44 years and I would love to know how you got rid of the traffic, did you take this video during the lockdowns, or do you have some kind of filter that makes traffic disappear because this traffic sure does not represent Costa Mesa at all. I love living here, and I really miss the Coco's we had at 17th and Irvine years ago, and the Panera Bread that was on 17th street, but we still have Side Car with the freshest doughnuts in the world. I wonder how many people remember Sally who used to have a hot dog stand at Teewinkle softball park.

I have lived in Costa Mesa for about 21 years and our tour car did pass by my apartment complex. Here is some fun facts. The average retiree in the US makes about 1500.00 a month which happens to be approximately the lowest price for a small studio or small one bedroom in all of Costa Mesa . Right now the average retiree in the US cannot obviously live here now if you are a single person. What will be the lowest price of the cheapest apartment in Costa Mesa in about only 5 years from now? How many single retired individuals will be able to live in Costa Mesa in only about two to five years from now?

@melissaclemons8922
@melissaclemons8922 3 жыл бұрын
Totally disagree lol - I was yelling - go left! go left! I've seen a line of cars there, 10 or more, where you could easily merge from 17th with almost no cars waiting to turn right. I usually turn, drive by the row still sitting there and in my head go "ha-ha" (yes sounding like Nelson). Kind of depends on the time of day too.

I took a quiz online and the results said for me to move to Costa Mesa, CA. Really? So then, I read editorials about that place and it says $80K a year is low income there and that the average salary is $97K a year for a single person. Guess I won't be living there.

that is not fair,, you need some of our LA Homeless,, your need to block off your sidewalks with tents and let them crape in the street. it not nice to keep all those sidewalks just for walking and jokers. you need port-a-potties on street corners,. you have the warm weather .. we in LA can help you with 20 bus loads of our homeless each week, it is not fair that you don't share your sidewalks as we do our beaches and city streets,, Do your part, help the panhandlers and drug dealers to get your kids hook on junk...
