Very, very nice. I lived in Korat 50 years ago. These highways are "new to me". Beautiful, fast and no more stopping everywhere. I wish I could move there permanently now but I'm 71 years old. I miss Thailand. So wonderful.

Fond memories. I landed at BKK on January 14th 2014 and learnt about huge protest that had broken out. Luckily, our guide was quick enough to change plans and took us to Pattaya. The journey was smooth and took this very route.

I remember going to Pattaya when I was a little child, I came back 7 years later this year and still had a great time, my nostalgic memories have been restored, plus, it wouldn't be my family's Pattaya vacation drive without taking a stop at PTT rest area, and I hope to visit Pattaya again with my family any day of the year if possible.

We rode from the airport to Sattahip, my wife's cousin came to pick us up. Little over 2 hours, but it was relaxing. Going back and as of this post, waiting at Narita for our connecting flight to BKK.
