The "neat lake over.there" (24:45)" is Hebgen Lake. It was created when the huge earthquake in the '50s hit and a mountain slid down and damed the river creating "Quake Lake".

There is actually a dam on Hebgen, Earthquake Lake is a few miles downstream

This is one of the crispest (if that's a word..lol) videos I have seen. The way the sky is highlighted against the surrounding landscape is breathtaking.

I got lucky that day. I don't post process any of my videos, what I see is what you get :) Some people change the lighting or color in whatever editing software they are using, I figure if people really want to do that most TVs allow it now.

Since this video I have bought a giant squeegee that I use to clean the entire windshield from one side of the truck, I just spray on some glass cleaner and bugs be gone :) Instead of smearing I just stop when it gets bad, works well and solved one of my main problems of filming. Also, the sun glare is bad sometimes, I am thinking about getting one of those visors that attaches to the outside of the truck above the windshield, not sure how that would work though?

You could get a Polarizing Filter for the camera to take out the glare and reflections. Clean the windshild really good with Invisible Glass then apply RainX, works great on mine. @@AmericanOutbackAmazing

Sounds like a plan, I will try the RainX. I have the GoPro Hero Black 8, it doesnt have filter capability. I think I saw that the new GoPro does let you buy filters and attach them, I might have to get one, supposedly it also has better battery management and doesn't overheat as much.

Many YT creators have switched to DJI due to the overheating of the GoPro and loosing recordings. I think it might be from using low quality SD cards in the camera. @@AmericanOutbackAmazing

I have good memory cards, a person for sure has to take the battery out and use a USB cable. Sometimes I wonder if the memory card is getting loose? After several repair files I will reseat it and then it is fine.
