They are probably far away because the tide will be coming back up. Unfortunately it is almost always cool there, a lot has to do with the temperatures of the Pacific Ocean that far north.

It's mascot is a little skunk. It's a gas station, not so much a store. I guess you can buy snacks and drinks, but most people are there to buy stinky gasoline. I think it's a safe bet that the majority of people don't think Maverick has the best breakfast in the world, and use gas stations for fuel, a bathroom and a road snack.

Nope, we were good. 2 days later we lost power for about 90 minutes when a tree fell on the lines about 2 blocks away. Luckily the power lines were not damaged and we got power back quickly. The tree must have briefly touched the ground and live wire tripping the breaker somewhere in the system. So far we have never had the power out longer than 3-4 hours for all the years we have lived here.

With the camper on it is 23-24 mpg if I go 60-65. When I first got the truck it was around 28-29 mpg. The wind resistance and added weight for sure makes a difference. The camper is 375 pounds and then I probably take 200 pounds of gear, water, def, etc when I go on trips.
