I love Dubai and have been there quite a few times, including now, and it’s really wonderful. I talked to many locals, including those in the service industry and they say that of you are not rich, there are still lots of things to do in Dubai and there are activities for families at all different price points and budgets whether you are wealthy or at a low income level. One thing for sure is that people who live here absolutely love it. It’s very clean, safe, and everyone is very friendly, polite, and patient. It’s truly a wonderful city.

I will never understand why people call Dubai and it's skyscrapers "ugly." They are some of the most beautiful scyscrapers in the world. The skyline and sheer impressiveness of it is inspiring. Imagine waking up every day and seeing more and more monuments to human engineering being constructed every day.

Beautiful shots and Dubai is still on my list of vacation destinations. But as a European, I can't imagine living in one of these high-rise buildings on an endlessly long and probably very loud highway. You probably won't be able to get anything done on foot and there will probably be a lack of walkable district centers for strolling, shopping and leisure activities.

Depends on what part of Dubai you visit. The parts mostly shown in this video is the downtown,more expensive, touristy, rich and modern parts of Dubai. These places as you said are just filled with big skyscrapers and not very much walking spaces. However, if you visit the older parts or more cheaper parts of Dubai like deira, you can find Many walkable areas, with many shops are souks everywhere. Plus unlike the newer side, nothing there is overpriced.

Actually, it's not the case, everything in Dubai near residential areas are at Walkable Distance, you dont need the car except for moving to places or visit somewhere. This is the highway.

Europe is a great place. Having lived both in Dubai and Europe, while Dubai has a better quality of life and higher pay, it cannot begin to compare with the charm of Europe. Money may be able to buy you fancy things, but it cannot buy you culture and soul.
