I want to give a heads up about this video. After a crazy comment was left on this video I was forced to do some research. Before making this trip and even afterwards...I had no idea about the atrocities that took place in this area. Even though this is not the focus of this video. I strongly recommend you research the history of this lake. I'll see you soon.....-Justin

Grew up and practically lived in this water park in previous years. I love this place it'll always hold a slot in my heart (also. There is a new slide complex coming in 2024.(also also. Finducker is the best slide, fight me!))

Me and my family paid our first ever visit to Margaritaville yesterday, and I gotta say, I was extremely impressed with this waterpark. I got to ride almost every single ride the park had to offer (except for Raging River, Cat 4, and Parrot Mountain unfortunately), and I've got them ranked right here: #8: Racing Waters- Not a bad ride at all, but I certainly wasn't expecting it to be as wild as it was. That final turn in particular was so crazy that I felt like I was gonna fall off the ride. Certainly an insane ride from start to finish. It's my least favorite for extremely biased reasons. I've never ridden waterslides like the ones at Margaritaville before so I was new to all of the fun, but I enjoyed every ride. Unfortunately, Racing Waters, while still a beast of a slide, has to come in last I'm afraid. #7: Triple Threat- Again, not a terrible ride either, but man is this one a bruiser. I rode this one twice and both times I sustained some very minor injuries while riding. On the first ride, I caught so much air on the last drop that my back slammed on the slide by the time I got to the runway. The second time I rode it, I was trying to use my feet like breaks to try and slow down so I wouldn't get too much air on the final drop, but I over-did it a little bit and I pulled a muscle in my lower left leg. Thankfully I'm okay, but just like Racing Waters, Triple Threat is indeed one bruiser of a waterslide. #6: Intimidator- Might be a bit controversial, but please hear me out. Given the fact that I don't visit these bigger water parks very often, I'm not quite used to the adrenaline and the insanity that some of these rides have, and Intimidator is the best example of that. This ride gave me lots of vibes from Brazil's Insano waterslide (I've never ridden Insano before, but I'm just saying). Overall, a good ride, but man, it sure is an intimidating ride (no pun intended lol). #5: Fin Dunker- My first ever 'bowl' slide (I'm dead serious by the way). This is hands down THE most intense waterslide I've EVER ridden in my life, especially when you shoot down into the bowl like a rocket. I almost rode it twice, but due to me potentially risking injuring my leg even worse than it already was, I decided not to ride it a second time. Overall, definitely a highlight of this park in my opinion. #4: Twister- This ride is absolutely bananas!! The constant changes in direction to those really sharp turns, literally EVERYTHING about this waterslide is bananas!! Even though I only rode it once, I certainly had a great time on it. #3: Splash Down- My first ever head-first waterslide, and the first waterslide I rode at Margaritaville. I was really surprised by how fast that slide is, but I guess when you're riding a head-first racer slide, you're bound to go pretty fast. This was definitely a really entertaining ride from start to finish. #2: Blackout- Now this is my kind of body slide. Quick, enclosed, and certainly a great entertainer. Like with Splash Down and Triple Threat, I rode this one twice, but out of all of them, I easily had the most fun on Blackout. #1: Typhoon- There is a reason why this slide got the most rides from me, because it's easily my favorite ride at Margaritaville. Splash Down and Blackout were kind of close, but Typhoon was the ride I had the most fun on. I loved all of the dark parts of it, all the turns and light fixtures on it, and really everything about the ride, and I can't wait to ride it again someday. Overall, Margaritaville is a seriously amazing waterpark, and I even think it's a MUCH better waterpark than Six Flags Whitewater (I had a TERRIBLE experience there last year). If you're planning on having fun at a Georgia waterpark, I would choose Margaritaville hands down. Great video too dude!!

Thank you so much! I agree the Waterpark is laid out really well and a fun vibe all around. I agree with your rankings as well. Typhoon legit scared me and I rarely get scared, and never a freaking waterpark but it happened lol. I hope you get to ride those rides in the future. Those were some of my favorite rides!

@@MrBucketlistGotta also shout-out Dreamsicle Dive, Serpentine Storm, and Mango Mania (Three of the four new rides at Margaritaville). They were all very fun and among some of my favorites in the whole park. I didn't ride Apocalypso, because I was a little too scared of the boomerango wall at the end. Also, Raging River and Cat 4 absolutely lived up to the hype. Raging River in particular is one of my favorite rides in the whole park. I rode it 4 times on my revisit today.

You definitely presented this place in a way that clearly shows that there is something for anyone of any age that loves a water park. Although I would have loved to see the belly ride on the mat… I’m sure it was even better than you getting turned around backwards on the first inner tube ride…lol. I’m starting to wonder whether you don’t have gills and fins…lol. And they had no idea wha they were in for when they treated you to a meal. Everything looked delicious. Appreciate you sampling all those goodies for the vlog…lol. Thanks so much for documenting and sharing in such a marvelous way. Stay blessed. ✌🏾🙂🏊🏽🎢🎡⛲️🏖️🙂✌🏾

Thank you for this video, we are going here this upcoming Friday. Definitely looks like a place our kids would enjoy. One question, are you allowed to wear swimming shoes?

You're welcome. You are. I took my shoes off during this video and lost them, but they don't have any issues with it.
