@@TollesonLife Not everyone has the same viewpoint. I wonder....Since my direct ancestors were basically the reason why The United States became The United States if they wouldn't allow me to stay at their campground if I had a Truck Camper? Of course, if the campground tries to use leveling jacks as an excuse as to why a truck camper can't stay at a campground, they should think of the larger implications in that it isn't only an affect on those whom are camping but on the manufacturers of Truck Campers as well. Besides, if the campground is worried about leveling jacks on what that can do to pavement, then they should consider requiring those whom are camping with a device or piece of wood under leveling jacks of a truck Camper so no damage happens to their pavement. Of course, large motor homes also have leveling jacks that can damage pavement if they want to think of it that way. Of course, if the campground does send truck campers away, then they better have a really damn good reason to do so, because that can be considered discrimination. All the campground needs to do is to provide the camper with something underneath the jacks. Of course, if The RV Park discriminates over the size of an RV then they really should seriously re-consider their stance in that regard especially if what was stated by the following lady & her husband is true. Of course, if they want to get political about it....Not a problem for me!!! I'm accustomed in knowing the difference between right & wrong. kzbin.info/www/bejne/lYq1gp-Lqq10abc

Just down the street (Buford Dam Rd) from where we used to live. Having the pontoon boat in the back yard in the boat house on the lake was the best. We would have picnic dinners on the pontoon boat out at one of the islands in the lake. But this was back in 1996. A lot has changed since then.

I drove through there last year when it was brand new. It was a bit sterile with to much concrete and asphalt for my taste. Apparently, they had cut down just about every single tree when renovating. If they plant about 120 trees, it might feel like a campground in about 10 to 15 years.
@brianparent4 жыл бұрын
I'd probably say the same, because it reminds me too much of California. Asphalt and concrete!!! Without trees and privacy from those trees, it just doesn't seem like a camp ground to me. My personal opinion.
@brianparent4 жыл бұрын
Those retaining brick walls aren't cheap either. Seriously, looks like the investors are from California. I don't think I've ever seen a camp ground made out of cement, and the whole reason for going camping is the outdoor experience called, "roughing it!" Heck, I know a few billionaires that wouldn't even stay there.

We drove thru there today as we were thinking of camping there later in the summer. $15 to just drive thru... ok but we wanted to have lunch while we were there. $10 each to get into the restaurant not counting the food. We prefer more wooded and secluded sites. THe part is beautiful, maybe the expansion will have better sites.
@TollesonLife4 жыл бұрын
Wow, $10 just to enter the restaurant?
@steveestabrooks9414 жыл бұрын
@@TollesonLife Here is what they told us. We said we just wanted to look around. They said $15 to enter the site, but refundable if you come back in 20 minutes. We asked if the restaurants were open. They said yes. We figured OK will pay the $15 to get in and we planned on having a nice lunch. We got to the restaurant and since it was on the beach, there was an additional $10 each to get into the restaurant. It was COLD yesterday and there is NO WAY anyone was going to use the beach. We left disgusted! If they told us when we drove in about the additional fee, we would have turned around and left. Total ripoff!
