Not an objective test, because close-ups are used. It's interesting to see the general plan from afar.

If 8mm it's 4x smaller (diagonal) than 35mm, why we don't see large grain pattern in this 8mm scanning if even 35mm have viseable grain in 1080p???

KZbin doesn't represent film grain very well. This is the Vision 3 50D, one of the finest grain film stocks ever made. On 16mm (half way in between Super 8 and 35mm) it looks absolutely fantastic. Most movies shot on 35mm use faster, much grainier film stocks such as the V 3 500T.

I think the bigger the format, the bigger the grain. A super 8 50D is less grainy than a 35mm 200T. And then there are degrain softwares that can be used to ''clean'' the footage.
