O wow! in 1974 to '78 I worked in the Financial District. I often had business in the Merchant Exchange Bldg (21:00) and on a few occasions had lunch in the Commercial Club dining room on the 15th floor. Off the lobby in the back was the Bank of England main room restored to its original opulance in the early 1970s. Back then the lobby would be flooded with business people, now on a Tuesday it is empty! On Leidesdorf Alley there was a shoe shine kiosk with three chairs that was always occuppied at lunch time. Where did all the business people go?

Hi there! I apologize for writing the wrong date. The video was recorded on Monday, June 24, Monday; not June 24. Most business people has been doing hybrid work. They work from home Mondays and Fridays. I since rectified the title of the video. Best wishes.

I love the walks in the City. Looks so empty of people in business wear
