Those counter-rotating props were also one of the first things I noticed.

Yes I noticed it before when I saw another A400 concerning the reverse direction of the rotation 👍 On the net found: The propellers rotate in opposite directions to cancel out their torque, which is substantial with 11,000 HP engines. If all four engines rotated in the same direction, there would be a large rolling/ yawing moment imparted on the airframe. Thanks for watching as always and I wish you a nice week too my friend.😊🤙

Intresting the flag on the tail is Blue White Red on portside and Red White Blue on the Starboard side Is normal never noticed it before.

Vertical flags are supposed to be read from the hoist, which used to be (and still is) at the back of ships, analogous to that they are meant to be read from the nose of the plane.

That sounds plausible, didn't read always from the back to front heading of the plane but now I can see. Thanks for your answer and for watching 👍😊

@@apveening I think I now realise why I had not noticed it before on AdA aircraft, looking at my own and online photo's it looks like the A400 is maybe the first to have the flag on the tail, as the photo's i looked at of Transall, KC135 and C130's did not have flag's.
