The biggest actual cannon fitted I think, was on the m110. A 203mm howitzer. HOWEVER that is a self propelled artillery piece. Not an actual turreted tank. This one here, she is a thing of beauty. With a turret.

You guys are crushing it with this tank. Not to mention this baby was ridden hard and put away wet 80 years ago. I won't complain when I have to work on my 69 Firebird 400; I'm sure that tank has bolts that weigh more than my Muncie 4-speed. Everything is so big and heavy, not to mention the huge surface areas for prep and paint. You guys are awesome and heroes to all veterans for restoring this beast for future generations to enjoy!

When I was 13, there was a 1st generation Firebird in town that was black on black with Crager S/S rims (deep dish ones on the back and jacked up in the back). It also had a vanity license plate on the front that said “AWESOME” underlined with a lightning bolt. It was love at first sight but I had a 1970 Chevelle SS in high school, black on black with Cragers. It took 20 more years to get the Firebird.

What you guys are doing is my life long dream! I joined the Army to be a Tanker but ended up becoming a Ranger. I loved my job but my love for Tanks has never left me . I had a chance to buy an M-60, a truck junkyard near me had 5 of them they were going to scrap but the M-60 was just too big, I’d love to find an old Stewart, at least it would fit in my shop. Just so you know I’m completely jealous of what you get to do and I’ll just have to keep watching your videos. Keep up the great work!

this one was a prototype for the cold war and never went beyond the test prototype, fired like a 100 shots before deemed a waste when guided missiles were in the rise. In ww2 the only nation "producing" behemots was germany and in very little numbers because their industry was already crippled by bombing. i think the biggest one they built and used was the jagdtiger.

Чисто из-за калибра называю эту пушку корабельной. Так как 183 калибр как раз таки относился к корабельной артиллерии 🙂

If you’re talking about one of the Sherman’s in the background then yes! It sure is the Sherman tank from the movie Fury! The Tank Museum were the ones who made the replica tank for the movie. They have a KZbin channel with a very in depth video about the tank and their role in the film. They even have a prop of Brad Pitts’s head! Hahaha
