Been using these trains to get to Manchester a lot better then cross county trains only difference is I get to pass through London 🎉 great video

Cross Country’s rolling stock isn’t as good but at least Cross Country serve more of the three countries. Avanti is unreliable, and only serves Glasgow, Edinburgh, Liverpool to London via New Street. That’s it. Not very good for a company with good stock. And Cross Country can at least run more services. When XC lost the HSTs it went a bit pear shaped. It was a whole lot better when it was Virgin Cross Country (the 2 companies as one, until the government favoured Avanti and Virgin lost it).
