Wow how times gave changed. SDMullis has an amazing old video of a USAir 727 doing CLT to SFO......its just amazing seeing the comparisons between the two transcon flights seperated by nearly 3 decades originating from the same airport. I love the Neo but flying was so much more special flying in the 72s days. You could be in economy have a meal with real silverware and (imagine this) more than an inch between your knees and the seat in front of you. What was service in economy back then you have to pay premium for today. Its sad how the industry has changed. This just reminds me of that.... EDIT sorry to go on a tangent. This is yet another great flight by an amazing production. Still havent had a chance to fly on a NEO.

It's always cool when my home airport gets featured on your channel. The Neo's started getting assigned to a good bit of CLT's transcon flights earlier this year along with launching some new ones here like CLT-SNA. Also, those planes at 1:02 belong to the Carolinas Aviation Museum (now the Sullenberger Aviation Museum). I covered them a bit in my community tab if you wanna know a bit more about them. ;)

Well, for most of my channel's existence, which is 8 years now, I funded everything you saw on here out of my own pocket with my own disposable income. In the last year, I decided to make a go at this being my full time job. Now that the channel has grown I rely mostly on the ad revenues and the support I get from viewers through channel memberships and Patreon. That said, I'm still pumping my own money into it too. KZbin and viewer habits change a lot, and I've actually lost money more months than I've made money. So I guess to boil down the answer, for 6+ years I funded it all out of my own pocket. For the last 1+ year I've been trying to fund it completely with the revenues I make off KZbin, but that's been challenging.

Never saw Lufthansa's all white A 350-900 clean tech flyer. Surprises me that they are flying to Charlotte. Must be from Munich. AA is a big A 321 customer and that's fantastic. Tuscaloosa needs work.....

Yes. Which he should have. Regardless of the situation, when you're the head of an airline, and your airline is currently in meltdown mode, you don't hop on a private jet to escape the situation haha. I mean, the optics of that literally couldn't be any worse haha.

No, I don't get any outright discounts. I pay for everything you see on here out of my own pocket. Now, I do get reward miles for my flights. I use those when I can to help cover the costs of all this flying. But, I don't get any special discounts or anything like that.

If there's one thing I don't like it's pre-recorded flight attendants. On Southwest you'll only ever hear a live person.😃 Not sure about other airlines though when I was a kid I flew all over the world and never heard a bot over the intercom.

Delta, United, and so many more airlines use it. Why waste resources on belts and stuff when you can have it shown on an IFE screen which is way more entertaining and attracts more people?

I'll be honest. I really don't have a preference either way. It is nice to have a personal touch, but at the same time, most of the time when it's done in person it has no personality. At least with the video, I have less of a chance of a flight attendant getting mad that I'm recording and they'll be heard on it haha.
