I'm surprised there isn't a mid platform exit/entrance. I think they still need some additional signage in a few places. Those Tri-rail platforms are very long for the length of their trains. I speculate that someday they could stack two trains on the same track for frequent rush hour service. Noticed the BL train on track 3 which has a high-level platform on one side and the low platform on the Tri-rail side. Seems like track 3 could be shared between Brightline and the future Northeast Corridor commuter service.

Can you take the same exit to the Government Center walkway from Brightline?

Yes, you will have to take the escalator up to the Tri-Rail platforms and then walk all the way to the other end and take the stairs down

@@_planesandtrains_ Hmm. You'd think they'd create a more direct route instead of doing all that. Though I suppose that's why the signs at Government Center say TriRail instead of both that and Brightline.

@@_planesandtrains_ Actually, at 2:00 there is a sign pointing the way to the Brightline lounge. If I exit the Metrorail/mover at Govt Center, and take the bridge to that spot in the video, would I be able to go to the lounge and the ticket area? I'm just trying to figure out the station geography: I'm planning a trip via Brightline to Miami, and want a way to get Metrorail via Govt Center (and vice versa) instead of crossing at street level to Overtown.

That sign I think is a placeholder for a future lounge on that end of the station. You can see at 53:04 it on the left, but it is not open. If are coming from Government Center you will have to walk across the bridge, up the stairs across the length of the platform and down the escalator to get to Brightlines side of the station, where you can check in and access the lounge

@@_planesandtrains_ Ok, I'll have to remember that. Hopefully they might set up a direct entrance to Brightline from that side, or a check-in, at some time.
