I created this very high quality time-lapse of growing fungi and bacteria using a flatbed scanner (scanography). A scan was made every 5 minutes for a time period of about a week. I started scanning when some growth became visible. The footage is rendered at 30 frames a second. What you see on screen has a real-life size of approximately 6 cm.
If you enjoy these time-lapses, please consider to like and subscribe. It would surely help me to create more content :)!

Anyone here after binging all 10? Anyone else get blinded by every.single.intro?

So cool you binged all 10, did you have a favorite? At #9 I actually stopped using that intro, thinking it was too long also with the video starting with a lot of empty black. I didn't realize the brightness could be annoying for viewers, thanks for sharing, I will keep it in mind! Curious if you liked the music I used with the last 2 videos. Thx again!

@@NerdyTimelapser #4 was the first one I watched and it's what hooked me into the series, but I remember being further impressed by #1. You get to see bunch of different stages of life, several interactions, and a variety of finished structures. Watching them ignited a childlike fascination for that whole dimension of the natural world- which I hadn't accessed or interacted with yet. I took the music as a expressive sign that you're continuing to establish the series- which makes me very happy! I love the importance you give to the clarity, color, and depth of these videos. You've got a winning formula and you're gonna become highly popular!

@@111VoiceOfReason Thanks for such an elaborate answer! #1 might be my favorite as well :). Choosing accompanying music was something I found difficult at first, but I'm happy I started trying it, I think it makes it a much nicer experience. Thx again for your feedback, appreciate it!
