Ikebukuro is located in the Toshima Ward, and is home to the Pokemon Center, Sunshine City, as well as Otome Road, an epicenter of "otaku" culture. Additionally, you will find the Tokyo Metropolitan Theater, and the famous Ikefukurō-zō, better known as the "pond owl statue" - Some say as famous as Hachiko! Don't forget, Ikebukuro is also home to Tokoy's Chinatown.

It's amazing to see no black people, but I don't feel like I would be afraid to live there. Everyone seems so focused and at peace. I love it already ❤ Your videos inspire me to believe as a black woman, I can live a joyful life free of hate outside the United States. I never thought that was possible before now. At 54 years young now I pray 🙏🏼 God makes a way for it to happen so I don't have to worry about living on disability here ❤ I'm trying to research the best way to be a digital nomad and take back control over my life to live it to the fullest until I die. Oh, Ms. Lee! Anything and everything is possible for you. 🥰 Agreed, you do not see many black people. But black people are quite welcomed everywhere I’ve ever traveled. Honestly, I think the more black people that go out and travel and share their positive experiences via photos/videos, the more black people we will continue to see travel. 🤗 But, I speak as a white guy, so I cannot account for a black experience, or even express that I would understand. I’m so glad you find inspiration in my videos. ❤ And that they have encouraged you to find a way in your life. You have a unique ability/talent inside of you. What is that ability/talent? How does that ability/talent translate to an online lifestyle? Can you share it in video? Can you write about it? These are the questions that will help you determine what you can do that will allow you to be anywhere you want to be. But don’t forget about working online as a virtual assistant! Or something of that nature. There are quite a few ways to earn an income sitting right at your computer. You’re finding that way, now. Even by speaking it aloud. 😊
