Mum and i had a 15 day holiday from Sydney, Australia to California, Nevada, and Arizona in 1975. from Los Angeles to San Francisco, to Yosemite, to Bakersfield to Barstow to Kingman to Las Vegas to Flagstaff to Grand Canyon then back to L.A. We stayed at the Circus Circus in Las Vegas. I cannot believe how much it has changed over the last 49 years.

For decades, MGM wanted to demolish CC LV and put some antiseptic building with no character in its place. Phil Ruffin wanted to maintain at least one family friendly resort so I'm glad he's the owner. The place hasn't changed since 2001, which is when I stayed there. It's still extremely popular with children as just about anything at the fair is here. The Food Court is pretty sad, though. I wish I could have eaten at their steakhouse but reservations were not available.

Yeah, the Steak House is delicious. Definitely lots of things to do for the whole family.😀

Hands down the most disgusting resort in Vegas. The entire casino area smells like feet and piss. I saw no less that 10 piles of vomit on the floor. Room corridors are never cleaned. To prove it, I pooped on the floor near the elevators on the 11th floor of the west tower in Sept of 2022. As of May of 2024, my poop is still there. The restrooms are absolutely horrid. Many stalls have no doors and weird men stand right there and stare at you if you're in one. I actually think you could catch syphilis by just walking in one. The urinals are filthy, some had vomit in them, toilets are filthy as many people use them and don't flush, they just leave them packed with TP, turds, and vomit.
