Such a crisp day. Loved walking through this village. I really like the Hanok style homes. The usage of wood on each one has a unique design, although. It looks like this area of the village is newly constructed. So clean and organized. Thank you Nathan.

은평 한옥은 우리 전통한옥형태가 아닌 느낌. 나만 그런 느낌이 든건가? 나는 기성세대이고 시골 한옥이 많은 곳에서 성장했는데 이제껏 저런 형태 한옥 본적이 없음. 개량,퓨전 한옥인가요?

전통만 고집할 필요가 없어요 전통한옥은 그냥 사는것 자체가 지금시대에는 안맞아요 우리것을 잃지 않으면서 편리함도 갖추는 현대식 한옥으로 가야하는게 맞음 그래야 이런주택들이 점점 더 늘어나지 그리고 그렇게 따지면 북촌한옥도 전통한옥이라고 볼수없고 개량된 한옥이라고 볼수있어요 단지 맘에 안드는건 여전히 마감처리는 중국이나 일본식 전통가옥에 비해 떨어지는게 안타까울뿐 특히 회벽으로 덕지덕지 발라 마감처리 하는 방식 진짜 저것 좀 고쳐주길 동서양 어딜가도 저런 접착제 역할하는 재료를 저렇게 티가 나고 흉하게 덕지덕지 바르는 가옥은 존재하지않음
