The walk in the lighted park, and the subsequent sky ride around it were absolutely amazing. A huge amount of time, money and effort was obviously put into all of that. What a wonderful experience! Additional: With all the large buildings with their lights on, and all the multi-color lights around the harbor, it looks like a magical digital world, something beyond the real world. Japan is such a beautiful country, in many ways and places almost fairy-tale like!

@@TheRealJanKafka love this!!! I really would like to live in Japan. It is such a special place, almost magical. I grew up with an interest in Japanese culture, history and heritage, and all aspects of the same, Samurai, Feudal Society, Modern Culture and Society, movies, Godzilla, and Anime (Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Cowboy Bebop, Vampire Hunter D, Dragon ball, Full Metal Alchemist, Naruto, Pokémon, and so many more, staying up very late to watch the latest episodes). I still have a great interest in all things Samurai, and continue to enjoy Anime. If I told you how old I am you likely would laugh, or at least have a big smile out of this.😊

Aside from the Christmas lighting, which the Japanese certainly have nothing to learn from anyone, I wanted to point out the fineness of the wooden flooring of the waterfront promenade. As well, the tranquility of the place is remarkable.

best place to live in Japan, Tokyo standard salary and cost of living is relatively low compared to Tokyo, much more relaxed than Tokyo, wide roads, near Kamakura beach, 30 minutes from Tokyo, compared to Tokyo, property prices are much cheaper, if you are bored you can camp there around Mount Tanzawa on weekends.
