@@gewglesux I've been lost in Tokyo twice by myself (three times if I include others), it's the first thing I do when I get there usually, lose my bearings. It can also be a difficult city to walk, if you're looking for a landmark, chances are it's nowhere near you and I've had people laugh at me when I would ask for directions and say I plan to walk. Example: Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Tower are NOWHERE near eachother. Unlike the city I grew up in and most cities in North America, there is very little grid layout in Tokyo. So you can walk a street for 10 minutes thinking you're still heading East when you've actually shifted and are now heading North.

Yeah what the OP was saying its super clean, any trash in a nice pile not in any walkway, and god damn is there alot of bikes obviously the walk didn't really focus on them but with how many there are everywhere they probably don't even have locks no one would think to steal one cause theres literally dozens on every street. Also I wouldn't consider graffiti to be a bad thing, it could legit be from years ago just no one repainted it and in a way its got aesthetics so its fine, honestly the fact they keep public streets as clean as they do makes me legit feel bad about how I let the cleanliness of my apartment go sometimes.

Saw like a total of like 5 people of what I would consider fairly overweight in the span of 3 weeks. With a diet high in fish, and a ton of walking to get around...it is not surprising.

They do that in a lot of countries. Here in the UK cars pull over to the side to allow room for the ambulance to pass. It's even a law that you have to not obstruct a oncoming ambulance.
