I am a Japanese student and live in this city. The school I go to is in the next town. There are mountains in the city of Miyadera and there are many birds, so I go there for a walk on days when I'm tired of studying.

I used to live between Motokaji station and the main Hanno road. I walked down the river path under the old disused rail bridge or up into the hills in the other direction very often. Sometimes I would walk through the Moomin park and walk the Bushi-Yama trail too - stopping at the lookout tower for a huge view of Tokyo.

Thanks for that! I lived seven minutes' walk from Motokaji-eki and strolled or ran beside the Iruma-gawa many times.

Thank you Rambalac. Really enjoyed that. Now I have some impressions of Japan; land of the rising sun, land of the vending machine and also land of no pavements on the streets. There is a lot of signage with English characters. Will Kanji gradually fall out of use. I thought I might try to learn Japanese a couple of years back but changed my mind when I realised it would involve learning all those symbols.

In the areas I grew up (mostly Georgia and Florida in US) few would consider this "countryside" because there is still a concentration of homes. But here there is relatively little thought given most places to leaving greenspace. Even in small yards and spaces around houses there seems to be an effort to bring nature closer, that unfortunately is not often seen here.
@tiennguyenminh34782 жыл бұрын
Yeah, basically because of size differences between US and Japan

I also live in the same area in the US, and the lack of greenspaces in urban areas is really a big concern of mine. These sorts of walks are really refreshing.

I wouldn't want to ruin the aesthetic of your videos which I love so much, but I wonder if you'd consider adding some text explaining what you see at times. For example, at 20:55, if you knew if those were apartments or a vacation spot. Thinks like that. Your knowledge could be an asset for your videos. Edit: I realize that would make editing an exponentially longer process, but it would add so much.
