What I find so great about Kebu is that he plays the instruments. It's not just MIDI programming. He uses arpeggiators and plays live giving us a performance. His use of the vintage synths that don't have MIDI is a testament to his creativity and an inspiration to me.

He's actually using sequencer to help with parts he can't play live. It's a mix of live and sequenced

I am really enjoying, the $600 Arturia V Collection of like 33 software instruments, that I got on Black Friday, for $299.99. Many dozens of presets, for each. Some, have pedal emulators included. I did, buy a real piano, for $89.99, just last weekend, also.

@@oliviergaming5104 From my understandings... He's had minor to moderate heart issues over the years. Think it was some kind of genetic or birth related thing. He had to cancel a number of shows over the past few years. Since this video was recorded in 2019, at least he's doing somewhat better from the looks of it.

Kebu is what Jarre always wanted to be, but he never had the guts to play live.
@bh-xe2wp5 жыл бұрын
This is a little disrespectful to Jarre what you have to bare in mind is that technology back in the 80's was not what it is today and he did play live especially "live in your living room" I suggest you look it up. Kebu also uses the same pre-recorded system as it is physically impossible to do everything live especially on your own. So don't think for one second that Kebu is the new god of the synth world. There are a lot of very good synth players out there.
@jean-louispech49215 жыл бұрын
lol jarre played live alone at paris in 1978 at the place de la concorde , with technology of 1979, no MIDI, no computer, etc.... just the analog synths of the time, the Eminent, some sequencers and analog rhythm box, and before around 1 million of peoples. I am not sure that many peoples did that alone.
@andyba694 жыл бұрын
