Also the thing about Mamamoo is that they come from a small company. Many groups in Korea that you hear about in the west come from one of the 3 big companies and Mamamoo are one of the success stories of a group from a small company who started with nothing (busking in the street to promote themselves, working 3 or 4 schedules a day for the first few years) to being one of the most successful groups in Korea based on just hard work and talent They’re a really amazing group of women

Oh man, first you discovered CL and her group 2NE1 and now you've discovered Solar and her group Mamamoo. Many Blackjacks (2NE1 fandom name) also became MooMoos (Mamamoo fandom name) because of their similarities in terms of individual members raw talents, always sing live, female empowerment messages, genuine humble personalities, etc. In fact Hwasa and Wheein are long term Blackjacks. Park Bom is Wheein's idol and even got to collaborate on Park Bom's song 4.44 at Park Bom's request. Mamamoo are widely acknowledged as the undisputed live vocal performance queens of kpop girl groups. All of their songs are amazing and cover many musical genres. They all have solo songs, their OST's are masterpieces, their covers, medleys and collaborations with other artists/idols are exceptional. They are geniuses. Even respected and more senior artists, not just idols, acknowledge Mamamoo's talents. They are the only girl group ever to have all of their members solo songs in the Billboard charts. Their Immortal Songs performances are legendary. Their ad libs and audience engagement are unbelievable. Mamamoo rearrange classic songs and turn them into pure masterpieces. Their commercial songs (advertisments) are so good that people mistake them for actual title songs. Their cute songs, joke songs and even songs where they diss each other are fun and captivating. They write some songs specifically for their fans to show their appreciation which in turn are appreciated by the fans. Their concerts last for 4-5 hours! They give 110% in anything they do. You simply cannot go wrong falling into the Mamamoo rabbit hole. Welcome to the radish farm. Sit back and enjoy the journey.

Yes Mamamoo amazing too! Deserves more recognition I feel like they are underated. Their vocals are superb! Aside for the OG Queens 2NE1 I only like Mamamoo and Jessi for always keeping it real and for empowering women.

Little introduction of mamamoo 4 members, 4 vocalists, 4 rappers, 4 dancers, 4 writers, 4 composers and 4 best friends. They are from a company were there was no budget to give them great MV or promoting, so they really had to bring themselves to the spotlight. But now they are one of the biggest kpop groups. They are known for there insane vocals and empowerment messages. The members from left to right: Moonbyul > Solar > Wheein > Hwasa As for recommendations to watch; Aya, hip, egotistic, dingga and wind flower. Just to begin with a few.

They all have amazing solo music and all of their group music is incredible. Yes that woman is Moonbyul she is the rapper and the 2nd most credited female idol of all time. She has about 70+ songs credited under her name and that’s not even counting the Japanese ones she took part in too Anyway all members are so talented and they all have songwriting credits too, defintely check out more of their music

The last couple of songs were their most recent, and the moves are a lot more recent. The rapper is one of the most credited women in kpop. She writes most/all of her raps. They are a lot more mature then other girl groups. They also value their individual styles. You will see that often in the clothes they wear and the way they dance. If you watch more of their music videos, always go to the official mamamoo channel. They will have subtitles in English. In my opinion, killing voice has spoiled a lot of their songs. The most recent stuff from them is the following: mamamoo: Pokémon ost. Moonbyul: miracle 3 days before Christmas. Solar: adrenaline (from her KZbin channel - solasido). Wheein: candy (there might be something else - but we are expecting new solo album from her soon). Hwasa: LMM (there might be an ost, but I cannot remember.) for the best (according to my opinion) then mamamoo: immortal songs medley . Moonbyul: eclipse. Solar:spit it out. Wheein: easy. Hwasa: Maria. Everything, except adrenaline and immortal songs medley should be on mamamoo channel.

They are not like other groups of girls that are product of the agencies in Korea.

Been a long time Los Flo, aye man I ain't gonna say much since everyone already told you about Mamamoo's story but I'm here to state they're equivalent to BTS in terms of coming from a small company and building them from the ground up. Ain't nobody heard and give an ounce of what RBW Ent (Mamamoo's company) is, their practice studio was so small when you look at Mamamoo's predebut practice footage you could see tables, chairs, and speakers clustered on the side but now RBW's building is huge and it's all thanks to Mamamoo. But here's where I love the girls, everyone knows and acknowledges that it was Mamamoo's money that built RBW into what it is today but the girls remain humble to their core and say their juniors also helped out but the thing is that their juniors only came about when RBW is already doing well. Kpop fans still acknowledge the BIG3 (SM, YG, JYP) but nowadays, some are already crowning the "new BIG3" (BIGHIT, RBW, KQ) and what can I say but agree to that. Those 3 companies who used to be one of the minor leagues could be a great competition to the BIG3 to step up their game. And I say all this as a Kpop fan for 15 years.

Well YG was a small not known company too until Big Bang and 2NE1 came. Those 2 Legendary Groups work hard really hard to and amazing raw talents raw. Knet even call both grouls and ugly because they are not up to SK beauty standards like others idols that time. But Big Bang and 2NE1 proved them wrong with amazing and superb talents.They broke SK idols standard not just in physical appearance but also when it come to music, live performances, fashion and record sales and awards.They fave the way and inspired a lot of 3rd and 4th gen idols. Hwasa and Wheein is a big fan of 2NE1. Because mostnof 2NE1 songs are about self/women empowerment.

@@LosFloChannel they really do! Sadly their are many videos of idols fainting on and off stage due to exhaustion. I saw mamamoo get in a car accident and then still show up and perform with bandages on. The injuries and anxiety and cyber bullying and crazy stalker fans even going so far as to pull a performing idol offstage. It's a scary world kpop idols sometimes live in but they really work so hard I love seeing someone new to the whole thing realize this so early on!

you ‘ll love them more when you see some of their satire songs: taller than you (funny diss song about one centimeter height difference), aze gag (dad jokes song), sleeping in the car (complaining when they have to sleep in the car because of work schedule), hip (a diss song for haters). Also some songs are just beautiful, meaning and vocal wise: paint me, star wind flower sun, be calm (Hwasa solo song), dingga (cheering people during social distancing), hello mama, good night.

Mamamoo is really an UFO in Kpop industry, because there was a lot of criticism against them (Not the best dancers, not the korean standards in terms of beauty, petition against Hwasa one of the members because of her looks ...), but their vocals, their ability to sing in all styles of music, their determination and just the way they are (Crackheads) currently put them with the best idol's group in Korea today. If you want to see a nice performance you should react to their "Immortal Songs Medley" performance (Cover of other Korean artists during one of their shows). You also could watch the tv show "QUEENDOM". It's a competition between 6 korean girl's group which made their comeback at the same time divided in 4 events : - A performance of one of their own songs - A cover of one of their opponent - A unit performance (1 team of vocal / 1 team of dancers) - Comeback songs No spoil about the winner, but ... You also would watch the guide of MAMAMOO by purplehawk (One of the best guide on Kpop i think) to know more about them

There’s a song called 1cm taller than you where they make fun of each other’s heights. It’s got a straight up hip hop sound if you ever watch or react to it make sure you watch the one one their channel cause it had captions. If you want you can just go through their title tracks from debut to now, to get an idea of how their sound has changed. There are allot and they have a tonne of live stages too. Also if you ever react to any guides, watch parts 1&2 of introducing mamamoo by purple hawk, they’re long but well worth it.
