@@rocketpunchgo1 i think modders Will probably make a reshade setting that removes the filter without affecting the Lighting once it releases in Pc like they did with mgs3, i too am not a fan of the 2007 cod filter but i think mgs4 is one of the few games that has aged well with it

I know this is not a fashionable opinion, but it looks better with the filter. If you watch the making of documentary you can see Yoji Shinkawa meticulously tweaking the filters for every scene in the game... and the milky, washed out green tones harmonise perfectly with the orange UI. It's been very carefully balanced by a world-class production designer... personally, I wouldn't want to mess with that.

There was a snow-factory map in MGO where the colors resembled this. I remember thinking everyone looked different from the rest of the game. I wonder if that map has the filter removed.

I have a mixed feeling between filter & non-filter Filter looks fitting because of the situation (war) and the areas of the game On the other hand, the colors on non-filter looks good but not too colorful that it looks weird, so it's just perfect
