This is a very modern neighborhood in Chikusa ward, about 10 km from downtown Nagoya.
East of the neighborhood is Heiwa Park, a large cherry blossom park in Nagoya City.
Hope you will relax while watching this video. If you see something interesting in the video, let me know.

I am Japanese. I grew up in Nagoya and still live there. I am very happy to see the comments from overseas people. To be honest, I'm not surprised or enjoyed because this city is a normal city, but I'm surprised that the town I live in is so praised. I use Google Translate.

Welcome to Nagoya! Basically we have around 50-60 raining days a year, mostly in summer. This is true Sky in a typical winter day. However, you would not prefer to walk around in Typhoon days, which visit our city several times a year.

Japanese city planning is curing my anxiety disorder. Look at the pedestrian area, it's clean properly made and level. The road quality is superb, no pot hole in sight, no uneven surfaces or even wavy, clear and properly made road signs, there are car parks conveniently and PROPERLY situated near the suburb commercial area, no loud single cylinder motorcycle exhaust noise, the housing area is very clean,tidy, and gives an easy access to commercial suburb area

saying its the most beautiful country in the world is an overstatement, but its your opinion i respect it, i lived in Japan, and i will say that it is beautiful on its own way but not the "MOST" there is no such thing as most beautiful country, i think its more like most preferrable country for yourself. come visit soon and enjoy it

@@Ava_vee But I guess Japan is the only country that has everything. Snowy mountains and rural areas mostly in the north with lots of tradition and old culture. Big cities with tons and tons of activities and newer culture. Nice suburbs, beautiful smaller cities and nice city planning in general. Beaches and almost tropical flair im the south. Like it's not the best place if you have to work, yet if money wasn't an issue it's easily the best country to live overall.

I live very near this area, Nekogahora, and commute to work driving there. Thank you for showing a beautiful video tour of my town. You should visit Nekogahora reservoir in Heiwa park, just adjacent this area, which was dug 300 years ago to provide the residence of Tokugawa Shogun family with drinking water. The big reservoir is in a height as you can guess by the video and a canal lead water to the Tokugawa residence in the very center of the city. The pond and the beautiful park around it is now a place of recreation and relaxation for the people living in this area. Anyway, this place is very ordinal residential area in Japanese cities, where even I can afford to have bought a house 😁

@shuzekky 2 жыл бұрын
@@afifamrm2694 I guess the movie contributor doesn't show the busy street to avoid invading people's privacy, but the quietness is very common in suburban residential areas in Japan. They are basically very quiet. People living in such areas in Japan never have block parties on the street; they eat and talk in cafe or restaurants, exercise at public gyms or, as I mentioned above, in the nearest park, and stay home to watch TV, etc. People use streets just to move to public facilities, station and bus stops, or drive cars, not to spend time there.

Interesting to see a place I know so little about. That's the beauty of such videos as yours I think... their ability to open up new landscapes in such a natural and raw way. Nicely filmed. Thank you.

I live in this area. This area is not a tourist area and is very peaceful with a large cemetery and park nearby. However, you need strong legs and feet to take a walk.
