Lud's Church is a deep chasm in Staffordshire, England, created by a massive landslip. It's over 100 metres long and 18 metres deep, located in Back Forest, near the Peak District National Park. Historically, it's known as a secret place of worship for the Lollards, followers of John Wycliffe, in the early 15th century who faced religious persecution. The site is also shrouded in legends, including tales of being a hideout for Robin Hood and Friar Tuck.
