The subs here are smaller, but they look less claustrophobic than Disney’s subs. Not sure how they get the fish in the ride without any fish being crushed.

This is an interesting way of doing it I seen underwater rides before but this is actually the best one I think I've ever seen This is what I would classify as an aquarium ride basically because it's definitely a submarine ride per say what they're actually going through an actual aquarium real fish real sharks of course real Legos what half of the would be underwater and half of it would be above water It's the best one I've seen so far and I hope no one tries to duplicate it

The level of theming alone puts it above this ride, or even the sheer scale of it. Don't get me wrong, this ride is cool and certainly surprised me, and the space inside the submarines is a welcome break from the small portholes of FNSV, but they aren't even on the same level

TheTerbreh This ride uses real fish. FNSV uses flat 2D see-through Peppers Ghost Fish projections on a screen that don't look convincing or believeable, all because they were too cheap to use animatronic fish. Universal gets criticized for using too many screens yet Disney does it too & people don't even realize it. The real fish on this ride puts it above FNSV. For the $120 admission fee Disney charges I'd expect to see something more impressive than fish projections on a screen.

Wow this is such a cute ride!! The real aquariums and windowed subs make it so special! And the narrations are actually very charming and educational! The little treasure tracker mechanic seems to encourage kids to explore their surroundings and take note of both the critters and the awesome lego models in the aquarium. I wonder how they keep the fish from interacting with the track. I’d hate for them to get hurt. As someone who has always loved building with legos, loved the Lego Movie and Lego Batman, and having recently watch my hubby play through the new release of lego star wars, I can say without a doubt that Lego always does everything with such care and with such a fun spirit and imagination involved.

Legos are plastic, not metal... so the salt water in the tank won’t hurt the legos.. they aren’t waterproof per say... the water can get in between the individual lego bricks.. but plastic is nearly indestructible... that’s why kids play with plastic toys in the pool and oceans... like buckets, boats, etc.. they don’t dissolve..
