I am surprised every time how incredibly clean everything is there. Not only the sidewalk, the streets but also the houses, the facades as well as everything. I definitely want to go there for a few weeks on vacation!

I comment about this constantly because it is a legitimate surprise: back alleys, parks, public places, even public toilets are literally spotless, neat and tidy. I noticed this when I was there. It is truly unbelievable.

It's part of the culture. People don't walk around eating and if they can't find a place to throw their trash they just carry it until they do. I think there are negatives of Japanese culture but the positives outweigh them
@ddandymann
@ddandymann 2 жыл бұрын
@@oxocube5000 Very well put. I always find the best way to describe Japanese culture is they tend to take everything they do, both good and bad, to its maximum extent. This leads to contradictions like a workforce that is incredibly high output but also incredibly inefficient, and sacrifices like extremely low crime rates at the cost of one of the highest rates of wrongful incarceration globally.
@shukrantpatil

@@ddandymann yep that perfectly defines Japan , but the cool thing is that they are working on their mistakes relentlessly and making sure to reach as close to perfection as possible , that's an adorable quality that they have .

Yeah it has to be all crammed together. That’s why ally’s are so narrow and houses are three feet apart. It’s not quaint. It’s overpopulated. And that’s not a little river to boat down. It’s open clear water sewage like from washing but not the toilet

I swear for everything dear to me, Japan is the one place in this world capable of reversing my nationalism. I love Mexico with all my heart, my homeland is everything I have. And fixing the place I was born and raised is everything I live for. But I see Japan... and damn it I wish I was born there.

Dusk where I lived in Osaka was special like this too. It’s like the hassle and bustle dies down. Kids finally get to play. You smell the wonderful fruity soaps and shampoos coming from the steamy open bath window. You hear children practicing violin and piano. Sometimes my neighbor would perform kendo for me in his garden. My neighbor kids would come to say hi. With so much less traffic on the highways the air seemed somewhat cleaner even in the neighborhood areas and the sky turned darker blue and less gray. Hearing children play was one of my favorite things about living there, especially when they played with me. They got used to fair skin and blue eyes in about two seconds. Love those children ❤️🤟🏻🌸

Ites for knowledge: There are many noted spots of viewing cherry blossoms in Ichikawa City, and there are many temples and shrines having many wonderful cherry blossoms such as Nakayama Hokekyoji Temple, Mamasan Guhoji Temple, Barakisan Myogyoji Temple and so forth in it, so visitors could enjoy seeing them with exciting wooden buildings in them. And they could also see them in some parks and green zones where waterfowls and wild birds are flying. Not only Somei Yoshino but also weeping cherry trees and Kawazu Zakura are popular. In this page, you could find several famous spots in this city. Why don't you visit to see cherry blossoms in Ichikawa City?

Watching you spontaneously pass the camera-gimbal over several branches was fun, but then I started thinking about how, just 10 years ago, this would not have even been technically possible, really. A camera up that captured the dynamic range of the outdoor lighting, evening sky etc. would have cost at least ten times as much. You would have had to use a steadicam which requires professional training and all of that. Maybe I am just getting old, but it impresses me that a walk like this can be captured as if it was spur of the moment and be so vivid. The shot of all the sakura blossoms floating down the river is where patience rewards. I always like this about your videos. There is a payoff somewhere.
