Interested to see how you adjust colours, brightness etc. if there any buttons or or adjusted via touchscreen? Very keen to see a follow up video. Did you find a mounting solution as yet

I've been through a couple of these type monitors and as good as the 4K or OLED is, it comes down to usability- does it have a built-in foot like a Surface? no. Does it come with a stand? no. Does it come with a folio to protect it that can used as a stand? no. Does it have a way to VESA mount it? no. etc. I mean, do they just expect people to hold it in their hand the entire time?

Lol mine came with a stand thing lol Ether way another idiot who buys a 50k base camra red 8k and has to buy the other bits and bobs that make it into a 60k camra Just be glad at that price you get a folding stand with it I bought mine directly from ubertech I got a folding case stand which works ideal for taking it away but peaple should stop expecting more when you probably own a iphone and bitch about them having charge bricks when you have one and then we all suffer to then buy a better charger else where you dont get a charger with a £1000 phone anymore lol so quit bitching take what you can get I paid £800 for and I got what I paid you buy a phone or get it on contract even then £60 a month for a phone with no charger in the box like cmon

Interesting Monitor .. Any 1/4 20 or VESA mounting options?
@EOSHDTV2 жыл бұрын
Nope unfortunately not, if you want to mount it like a normal monitor on an arm or something, may have to see if there is a case that fits it, with VESA mounting on that. I was thinking of using a magnetic connector, as it's light enough not to drop off a mount with a decently strong magnetic mounting plate

Hi I'm interesting in the monitor, but I have some doubts. It has HDR and freesync support? I want to use it on a Xbox Series X?

It maybe a great panel, as OLED it probably is however if you don't have support to calibrate it properly it cannot be considered as "professional" option to colour grade in resolve. It maybe good out of the box but calibration is essential to be sure. There is an Asus proart 14inch OLED monitor coming Which will have hardware calibration support, I see that as better option for critical colour work. I don't think it will have touchscreen so it may not work for your intended use but for studio monitor, DIT monitor or colour grading I would pick up the Asus one.
@EOSHDTV2 жыл бұрын
The ProArt stuff is 3x more expensive so the hardware calibration features in the firmware of the screen needs to be unique and not something you can emulate with a $99 Spyder and software calibration in MacOS. What are the advantages of the Asus over that?
@marcofazio13182 жыл бұрын
@@EOSHDTV I'm not talking about the current monitors available which all are mini led technology and get very expensive. But a new 16inch OLED one the PA16DC which it may be the same panel used on your unit. the price hasn't been released yet. It should have the same hardware calibration features of the other Proart monitors, meaning they can be calibrated loading with a 3D LUT 16but at the panel level via the Asus calibration software and colorimeter included in the box (it's a x-rite i1 display Pro branded and optimized for the panel). They have also compatibility and direct integration with Calman software if you really what to get serious with the calibration and you own 6-7k worth of hardware calibration spectrometer.

For playing on Nintendo Switch with 60hz refresh rate this is ideal( Because Nintendo can only go as far as 60hz). BUT with playing on PS5 that can output some games already at 120hz the monitor is NOT ideal. So in case your planing to game on PS5 you should get something with 120hz refresh rate. This OLED monitor is extremely impressive and expensive at the same time. P.S Let me add that you can also use this with your Steam Deck / Aya Neyo 1 & 2 / GDP WIN 3 & 4 /AOKZOE and WHAT NOT. And ALL THOSE systems are 60hz refresh rate max so this screen is ideal for them as well.

That looks really great! Good unboxing. I always enjoy your stuff. Keep it coming. For me, EOSHD's still alive- hopefully, a lot of the idiots just left and we're left with all the best ones. :)

I just bought this monitor I dont care for brightnes anyway ile be putting the brightness pretty dim for darkroom viewing reduce the chances of burn in aswel and also a dream monitor very colour acurate srgb for gaming hdr I not worth getting into but seeing a beatiful colour acurate panel is enough for me anyway this will be the monitor that I use for the next 10 years on cable probably take the battery out and use it on the cable anyway my b6 oled dont look as impresive as this monitor probably because its running rgb and not wrgb like LG meaning you dont get that awful tint on the screen

OLED = burn in - really not recommended for colour grading work with static images on screen or monitor use accordingly, or even games with a static hud.
@SuperSuperka2 жыл бұрын
these OLEDs are good for image/video preview, must serve as second monitor so can be recomended easilly. They are just the best option right now. UI must be on first monitor
