Same here. I do a lot of DIY repairs around the trailer and I fix the car a lot with my phone around me, so this phone wouldn’t last that long with me lol my iPhone 12 has done great with its protective case, but I’m looking at the Armor 24 as my next phone in February.

I think this was expected. Considering it's build. Though a feat of engineering, Huawei themselves probably knew it was definitly not very durable. That's why it comes with a small sheet telling you the phones' vulnerabilities, and why they offer screen replacement warranties and repairs for free when you buy the phone

in my opinion folding phones are always going to be a gimmick. There is no need for folding phones other than just showing that it can fold, the big screen is nice but the folding line is too distracting for my liking

Not only fragile, but it requires to open up to use some normal functions which make it even more fragile than before. Quite frankly, lots of people saw theirs phone having problems within a week of just normal uses.

@@alexanderchen4123 Yeah, maybe if I was someone that traveled a lot and wanted to watch stuff on the go it'd make a bit of sense, but could also just... Get a tablet, or a laptop? I don't need a phone-but-fragile for this stuff. Though honestly even the non-folding phones are getting to absurd levels, the race to max thinness has been diminishing returns for years now, so much stuff being sacrificed when you can add a few mm and potentially double to the battery life, increase durability, make it easier to repair... Though all of those mean less reason to buy a new one I guess which is why the companies like Apple/Samsung etc ain't doing it.
