Usually on the terminal parking garages, and security may drive by to see what you are up to, but I have never been asked to leave or stop taking pictures/video there

What an airport,nice video.Is the airport spotter friendly and is there much Air Force activity? I would make that a weekend trip and never leave the airport.

PHX is pretty relaxed towards spotters, I've never had any real issues with security while spotting from the parking garages, and I've never been asked to leave. There is an Arizona Air National Guard base at Skyharbor with several KC-135s, sometimes you get lucky and see one or two of them flying. Occasionally other Military aircraft will make stopovers at the airport, I've seen F/A-18s, F16s, T38s, and C17s, but it's not super common to see those, just have to get lucky. Mesa Gateway Airport, and Luke AFB get most of the Military aircraft movements in the valley.

Jeez, that Volaris was just bad piloting. I mean, the Airbus tells you when to retard the thrust and everything. That pilot just flared 15 feet high on the first one and didn’t do a thing about it, and then pounded it into the ground in the second one. The Southwest right after tries to do the same thing, but the pilot corrects it quickly and keeps it from floating out of the touchdown zone.
