I have visited the island many times over the last 20 years but mainly TIAS, Puerto Calero snd PDC, but seeing your walk through made me realise I do take it for granted now knowing where things are makes you rush from place to place without seeing your surroundings clearly. My DEAREST Y&M! Happy Sunday, my precious friends! As always I enjoyed your walks minute by minute and for a moment I forgot that today it is practically impossible even to walk quietly along the seafront or sit at a bar or restaurant without fear. It really feels like another world, a world that was not peaceful anyway, given all the problems that afflict us, but at least we had our freedom to move and enjoy the little big things in life, which are now closed to us. Including a hug - this is just crazy! Here we are very close to a new lockdown as France has already done. We'll see. Already my work and that of my husband (we both work in the sports world), has suffered a partial arrest. Nonostnte I still have to go to work, take public transport ..... and so on. Twice penalized! Partially reduced salary but always present risk since I still have to move. For this reason, really, moments like the one you give me mean minutes of relaxation and serenity, imagining that one day, hopefully as close as possible, we can really smile again! I love you, my dearest friends! I hope things are quiet enough with you. A BIG HUG and love from Milan! Renata

It's upsetting to know that your work and that of your husband has suffered so badly, as so many people's have. You mention the times of relaxation and serenity that these videos give and that makes doing them worthwhile. I don't know if you're interested but M and I have started a new channel, of guided relaxations. It's only been up a day. We teach yoga and mindfulness and we thought such a channel is much needed right now. We'd really value your feedback on it. In the Canary Islands they have always had a better situation with the covid. On some islands such as Lanzarote, lockdown would have been not necessary... Here in the Basque Country things have gotten serious. :-( Since last night we have perimeter lockdown, and we cannot leave our own municipality. I still have some walking videos recorded, but I am afraid that for a few weeks I will not be able to move to record more. Anyway, patience, and let's hope the situation improves. And that of all the bad things that can happen, the worst is not being able to record videos ...
