nothing like a Cadillac, the ride is incredible, I have this model in black and just love looking at it

I had one of these..... Most comfortable seats I've ever seen in a car.... huge leg room both front and rear..... more power than you would expect from 200 hp in a car that big. The ride was a bit spongy but a great car.

The performance left something to be desired and even worse it required premium. The best part about it was its durability. The Ford HO 5.0 had more power and far better fuel economy plus it took regular, but it couldn't take as much of a beating as Cadillac's 4.9.

Tell me about it. '91 was the only good year as it had the 4.9 and coupes still, at least for the FWD Fleetwood. Very few coupes for '92 and maybe 1 in '93. More Deville coupes in '92.

Love this car. Bought it for 400 bucks. 128000 miles.. Had to so some work like the starter, belts, radiator, and such. Great travel car. Not so good in city. I avg about 17 mpg. Not the best on gas and burns a lot of oil. But, all in all great investment. When cleaned and detailed it looks sweet. Old school is best. (-:

I bought my '92 Cadillac Sedan Deville with 92,700 miles on it. Since brought it up to 94,500 miles. 4.9 engine is powerful. But doesn't tempt me to speed. It's a cruising type of ride.

Had one until ten years ago, could never figure out why I wasn't having hundreds of electrical problems like other GM cars, were using tungsten contacts in all the switches and switches it did have. Called it my highway car before they came out with this stupid winter gas, only 75% the BTU rating of summer gas, got 33 mpg on the highway, cit was 15 mpg no matter how careful you drove it. Avoided driving it on on salted roads, another car killer, but in around 2008 four ABS lines, three fuel lines, and two transmission lines all rusted out. Replaced the all myself, that was a major job if GM only used better materials, like a little nickel in these lines. Been driving Cadillac's since my 1937 Limo, but the 1993 was the last good one, after that, junk from Caddy, were also bad in the late 70's using a Chevy or whatever engine, maybe an Olds. Test drove a CTS in 2010, was exactly the same size as the Cruze, well not exactly, had one more inch of rear seat foot space, and a 340 or whatever HP engine you could not use in a country with a 55 mph speed limit. Cruze was practically the same, but $40,000 less. Feel that 1937 with a V-16 was the last good Caddy made, all downhill from then.

Only thing I hate about it is the analogue gauge. The digital one is so nice. Odd as I've seen them both with and without the digital; guess it was an option still after '92. My '91 has digital, my family's '92 had analogue, and saw a '93 recently with digital again. Shame they showed no RPM. I have those same Firestone FR710 tires on mine. For a $65 or $70 tire they are quite excellent.

@@amcmoass1751 92 Cadillac Brougham D Elegance. Now I remember that after 76, Cadillac started down-sizing the DeVille. By sometime after the 70's, They really down-sized. the DeVilles were so small, compared to the 75 I owned, I just stopped paying attention to them. I owned the Broughams and forgot Cadillac was manufacturing the smaller, down-sized version. Do you like the smaller DeVille? The 75 DeVille and 75 Brougham I drove were great cars. 500 cu in engine. sucked much fuel.
