I just took ownership of a 95 XJ6 vanden plas. What an amazing car. So simple and sooooo luxurious. I can’t stand these new cars with computer screens blaring in your face. I would love some advice on the oil your use for that car.

my 1995 jag has 167,000 miles. all i do is change the oil every 3k and transmission every 12k. and my wifes 2017 subarus engine blew out at 52,000 on the highway. ill take the jag

@@flemit35 considering the life expectancy of engine changed less i dont mind spending an extra 300 per year for an engine to last hundreds of rhousands of miles longer

Suspension ”clonk”, upper suspensionbearings probably need a change in the back. Cheap and fearly easy to fix though.

I am an American. I'm now on my second X300 and an XJS in my garage. I dont pronounce it Zsagyu-auhr because if I did, It would be totally offbeat with how I normally speak and I would sound like a complete asshole. I pronounce it Jagwar. But it really REALLY irritates me when its pronounced JAG-WIRE. It honestly makes me believe that the person has no idea or has any real knowledge of the car. And then I think two things: Im either going to get a good deal because he doesnt know what he is talking about, OR, This guy is trying to rip me off.

Does anyone know how to help me with my xj61997? What is the correct oil for the engine? The alarm, even though it is set and beeping, the light comes on but it still does not lock the doors. And locking the key locks all the doors. The radio turns on normally but there is no sound coming from the speaker. I've tried everything and nothing has resolved it.
