My dad's last project was a 572 in a 65 stepside for a 3 star Army general. He was an ASA and NHRA top fuel chief in the 70s and 80s. He died years ago, he would have loved this. He would have yelled at you for the slightest error. Miss you dad, you gearheads would have loved him.

Burnouts with big tires are one thing, but 4wd burnouts are a whole different animal! That takes some serious low end torque to bust all 4 tires loose!

Even blowing the rears loose, hes not brak torquing it. That is nuts! Had a built 454 in my 76 K5 no way in hell it could do that. Ripped the DS motor mount apart if I romped on it too much. Fun as hell!

@julianpearson49087 сағат бұрын
@ they way supercharged LS motors are responsive it would be hard to pass that up. Over a 502 that is
@garretabbott7 сағат бұрын
@julianpearson4908 I knowww, I have a centrifugal 6.0 in my squarebody. Just keeps pulling, and mid teens+ mpg's. The NA 502 will be arguably more reliable (less to fail) and there is just nothing like that big block torque, especially in low rpm situations. But I already know I'm gonna be looking at 6, maybe 8 mpg

That truck is my kinda build. Mechanical first, then interior, the outside ( Body and paint) ... it's not falling off. Speaking of, if Zach ever does the paint I hope he does some kinda of small skull pattern in the white area because the patina on the front drivers fender in the white has always looked like theres some kinda skull pattern there that's just not rendering thru the recording and I think it'd be sick.
