Hindu Kush means Hindu Killer/Slaughter so when you said Hindu Kush goodness and eating it ....... that aside , I bet that syrup used was Rooh Afza a famous Sherbet type drink which has an interesting history that the owner's elder son stayed in India after partition while the younger went to Pakistan thereby creating this cross national refreshing uniting drink one of the few uniting things left.
