Afternoon walk at the Esplanade in Redondo Beach starting from Veterans Park in South Redondo Beach to Miramar Park in Torrance Beach. This 2 mile scenic walk path in Redondo Beach is one of the best overlooking views of the Pacific coastline.
Redondo Beach is one of the three Beach Cities in Los Angeles County, California, located in the South Bay region of the Greater Los Angeles area, just 8 miles south of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Have lived there three times and after traveling the globe extensively I honestly consider RB/PV to be one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in the world to live. I live in redondo beach! I go fishing every day off the jetti, (all of the rocks going from the sand to the ocean) EDIT: OMG OMG!!! You can see my electric scooter that i drive there every day at 8:53, I painted it black and red, but yeah I guess I was fishing that day 😂

At around 15:10 or so, the people who enjoyed the movie Lifeguard (Sam Elliott) will recognize the background scenery (Palos Verdes, I guess?), and it even looks like they used the actual lifeguard station (I would've thought it was a prop); it's placed right where it was in the movie (depending on the camera lens used). Not a well known movie, but one which depicts 70s California life fairly accurately, lol.

You're exactly right. I live in the area. That film led to a lot more films being shot here, unto this very day. Sam Eliot actually knows the area fairly well. It's a good film, well worth watching and the most accurate portrayal of life here, unlike say "Tequila Sunrise".
