안녕하세요 Jmh Walker 입니다. 이곳 창덕궁(사적122호)은 1405년 경복궁 다음으로 지어진 별궁입니다. 정궁인 경복궁의 동쪽 방면에 있어서 '동궐'이라고도 불렸습니다. 금천교가 세워지고(1411) 돈화문이 건립되는가 하면(1412) 조선 제9대 성종 때부터는 여러 임금들이 여기서 지내, 본궁의 역할을 하는 궁궐이 되었습니다. 임진왜란 때에는 불에 탔으나, 1611년 광해군에 의해 다시 지어진 궁은 자연과 인공의 조화가 잘 이루어져 많은 관광객들이 찾고 있으며, 인정전, 대조전, 선정전, 낙선재 등 많은 문화재가 곳곳에 있어서 눈길을 끌고 있습니다. 창덕궁은 1997년 12월 이탈리아 나폴리에서 열린 유네스코(UNESCO) 세계 유산위원회에서 수원 화성과 함께 세계문화유산으로 등록되었습니다. 또한, 동아시아 궁전 건축사에서 비정형적 조형미를 간직한 조선시대의 전통건축으로 대표적인 궁입니다. 자연경관을 배경으로 한 건축과 조경이 고도의 조화와 배치가 탁월하며, 후원은 동양 조경의 정수를 감상할 수 있는 세계적인 조형의 한 단면을 보여주고 있습니다. 구독과 좋아요 알람설정 감사합니다.
Hello, this is Jmh Walker. Changdeokgung Palace (Historic Site No. 122) is a separate palace built in 1405 after Gyeongbokgung Palace. It was also called ‘East Palace’ as it was located on the eastern side of Gyeongbokgung Palace, the main palace. Geumcheongyo Bridge was built (1411), Donhwamun Gate was built (1412), and from the reign of King Seongjong, the 9th king of the Joseon Dynasty, several kings stayed here, and it became a palace that served as the main palace. The palace was burned down during the Japanese invasions of Korea, but was rebuilt by Gwanghaegun in 1611 and is visited by many tourists because of its harmony between nature and artificiality. Many cultural assets, including Injeongjeon, Daejojeon, Seonjeonjeon, and Nakseonjae, are located here and there, attracting attention. Changdeokgung Palace was registered as a World Cultural Heritage along with Suwon Hwaseong Fortress by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee held in Naples, Italy in December 1997. In addition, in the history of palace architecture in East Asia, it is a representative palace of traditional architecture from the Joseon Dynasty that preserves atypical formative beauty. The architecture and landscaping against the backdrop of natural scenery are highly harmonious and excellent in arrangement, and the back garden shows a cross-section of world-class formative art where one can appreciate the essence of oriental landscaping.
