Thanks for this wonderful channel, it makes me remember when I used to live on Zhejiang Rd many years ago. Can I make a suggestion, you walk down Nanjing Rd? From 外滩 to 西藏 road. Or the other direction. Or maybe down Fuzhou road, it is very nice, and you can browse some books in the 上海书城. Or 金陵路, the road which has a lot of musical instruments. (It had musical instruments when I lived there, maybe they aren't there any more!) I used to live in that area, like I mentioned. 下呀浓！I hope you understand my Shanghainese.

Driving in Shanghai is actually a pleasant experience. People do follow the rules and the traffic moves efficiently. As a foreigner you are not allowed to drive in Shanghai due to their strict licence requirements.

You can drive cars in Shanghai only if you get Chinese driver licence, I mean they don't fully accept international driver licence, you just need to pass their exams on comupter and then you can get licence.

For the city of an ancient civilisation, I must say, it is quite lacking in character. It looks like any old American city with no character, only glass skyscrapers and more skyscrapers. Where are the intertwined traditional buildings? Where is the display of Chinese culture? It looks like it was built 20 years ago and has no history.

lol, because Shanghai was never a old traditional Chinese city. The modern part of the city indeed was started to build around 30 years ago. And you do know Shanghai is mega city, right? The places where have traditional constructions are just not showed in this vid

Why must "Chinese culture"? I mean i'm not sure whether you really know about Chinese culture or just willing to see the image Hollywood putted into your head? Shanghai is a Chinese city, it's part of China. So however it looks like, it repesent China as one aspect.
